China legislates a new law: Children must visit their parents frequently and continuously. Parents can sue their children if they fail to comply with the law.
I claim; that this new law of China, is a lesson learnt from our very own Qur'an. 1400 years ago, a verse was descended upon The Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu ‘alaihi wasallam, and it reads:
It means, “Your Lord has commanded that you should worship none but Him, and show kindness to your parents. If either or both of them attain old age with you, say no word of contempt to them and do not rebuke them, but always speak gently to them. And treat them with humility and tenderness and say, “Lord, be merciful to them both, as they raised me up when I was little.” [Surah Al-Israa, 17:23-24]
