Du’a: #32 The Du’a That Saved Adam and Hawwa’

When our mother and father, Adam and Hawwa wronged themselves by eating from the fruit of the forbidden tree, they were inspired to immediately invoke Allah with a du’a, with which He granted them an ultimate pardon. We are taught the exact du’a in the Qur’an. Let’s get hold of it. For we need it more than they did.

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْـخَاسِرِينَ.ـ

“Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.”
