Du’a: #47 My LORD, Please Forgive Me

When Sayyidunā Mūsā accidentally hit someone, and the person died, He turned to Allah in repentance; seeking forgiveness. This is what he said:

رَبِّ إِنِّـي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِـي.ـ

“My Lord, indeed, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.”

Pluralized

رَبَّنَا إِنَّا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا
