Du’a: #53 Have Mercy on Us… My Lord

In the closing verse of Sūrah al-Mu’minūn, Allah encourages us to follow in the footsteps of the Prophet ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam in reading the following du‘ā’:

Text

رَبِ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.ـ

“My Lord, forgive us and have mercy (upon us). You are the best of those who show mercy.”

Pluralized

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.ـ
