The Muslim’s Motivation for Guidance, Life Choices and Ihsan | A Moment Please!

Alhamdulillah.. infinite thanks and praise are due to the Almighty Allah, who favoured us with His preferred religion and sent us a Prophet to teach us and guide us to Him. Complete peace and salutations are upon the chosen Prophet, Sayyiduna Muhammad, his household, his companions, and all those who follow his guided path.

This article combines three episodes from the “A Moment Please!” series. They are EP27: How to Be Inspired, the Right Way as a Muslim, followed by EP28: The Muslim’s Motivation for Choices in Life] and concluded with EP29: How to Attain Ihsan in Every ‘Ibadah. Combined, these three episodes aim to inspire the respected reader of GSalam.Net to review his relationship with Allah, and refine his motivations in that relationship. After all, the return shall be to Him, subḥānahū wa ta’ālā.

In the first of the three episodes, we highlighted the importance of making a decisive decision by doing one thing. That’s to be Muslim genuinely, for the sake of Allah alone, and nothing else. How is that? Details in the video below:

Episode 28: The Muslim’s Motivation for Choices in Life

In the second episode, we took it to a step higher. So, we discussed how important it is, once we’ve decided to be genuine Muslims, that we carry out the basic Islamic obligations with Allah as our focus.

The truth is, this is something which requires more than just being Muslim genuinely. It requires some level of commitment and being true with Allah subḥānahū wa ta’ālā. Find out how to achieve that in the video below:

Episode 29: How to Attain Ihsan in Every ‘Ibadah

When we reached the third episode, we discussed how to take it to even another level higher.  This is the level you need to reach, as a Muslim to attain the meaning mentioned in the hadith, that was reported by Abū Ya’lā and al-Tabarāni, and authenticated by Shaykh al-Albānī, in which Rasulullah ṣallā Allāhu ’alayhi wa sallam says:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ إِذَا عَمِلَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَمَلاً أَنْ يُتْقِنَهُ

“Indeed, Allāh loves it, that when one of you does something, that he perfects it.”

May Allah grant us the guidance and courage needed to refine our Dunya for the best interest of our Akhirah. May we be a source of inspiration towards righteousness for our loved ones, for those around us, and for anyone we come across.
